How do I change the thermostat on a 2001 Hyundai Elantra?

I found a few web sites with generic instructions that can apply to all vehicles, but I would feel more comfortable with a diagram or a web site that has pictures of this Elantra model. Anyone know any free resources?How do I change the thermostat on a 2001 Hyundai Elantra?
take the old one out and put a new one in, all you need to do is locate the thermostat housing usually at the end of one of the radiator hoses on my car it is literally at the end of the radiator return hose (top hose) take the housing off pull the old one out clean the old gasket off the housing and engine replace gasket and place new thermo in its seat replace housing over it and bolt it back down. this is really one of the easiest things to do next to changing the oil. if you need a picture for about 20 bucks at your local autozone you can get a chilton manual for it that has every diagram of the car there is.How do I change the thermostat on a 2001 Hyundai Elantra?

i dont have a answer for you, but i will say that this is a very good question because i was wondering the same thing. so its the top hose not the bottom ohhhhhhhhhhhhhHow do I change the thermostat on a 2001 Hyundai Elantra?
If you need a diagram to change the thermastat you probably shouldnt do it!
