Hyundai Elantra GLS 2002 - NO Heat. How to diagnose?

My Hyundai Elantra GLS 2002 is running fine but does not give hot air when I put the fan on, with HOT/ COOL switch on the HOT side. If I put the fan off, I get some air (not as much as with fan on) but hot to some extent better than fan on. My engine temperature indicator shows normal, engine coolant level is OK, and apparently there is no leak. Can someone help how to diagnose the problem? Also, where is the thermostat for this? Further, how to change the thermostat if that is the problem? Do I need any special tool to do that?Hyundai Elantra GLS 2002 - NO Heat. How to diagnose?
first open radiator and look inside to see if coolant is low watch flow of coolant wil tel lyou if thermostat is working by coolant droping and rising in radaitor the thermostat you find by following top radiator hose by to motor remove hose and two bolts in housing easy job to replace and no special tools needed.. here wil guide you thru itHyundai Elantra GLS 2002 - NO Heat. does it only put out only hot or cold..because if its that then its the blower motor resistor..if it dosnt blow any air at all its the blower motor itself...Hyundai Elantra GLS 2002 - NO Heat. How to diagnose?
Based on your observations it is not the thermostat but a part that controls where and how hot air gets directed into the cabin of the car.Hyundai Elantra GLS 2002 - NO Heat. How to diagnose?
Pull the glove-box door and check that the cables are still connected and make sure that the hot/cold door is working as well.
